Key Responsibilities

  • Mix and prepare dough, batters, fillings, and toppings according to recipes.
  • Operate and monitor ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and appearance of all baked products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area following food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and place orders as needed.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries as required.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and products.
  • Train and supervise junior bakery staff (for senior roles).
  • Prepare and bake various types of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / Certificate in Bakery & Patisserie from a recognized institute.
  • 0–5 years of experience in a bakery or hotel kitchen (freshers with training can apply).
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and recipe formulations.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Creativity in baking and presentation.
  • Ability to work in early morning shifts and fast-paced environments.
  • Team player with attention to detail.

Types of Bakery Items

  • Breads: Sourdough, baguettes, brioche, multigrain, sandwich breads.
  • Pastries: Croissants, danishes, puff pastries, tarts.
  • Cakes: Layer cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, celebration cakes.
  • Cookies & Biscuits: Chocolate chip, shortbread, traditional cookies.
  • Indian Sweets: Traditional Indian bakery items (optional).
