Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients.
- Follow health and safety guidelines including personal hygiene and proper uniform.
- Support senior canteen staff and cooks as needed.
- Serve food and beverages to customers / employees in the canteen or cafeteria.
- Clean tables, counters, and dining areas after meals to maintain hygiene.
- Assist in washing utensils, plates, glasses, and kitchen equipment.
- Help in basic food preparation such as cutting vegetables, arranging items, etc. (under supervision).
- Ensure the canteen area is tidy, stocked with napkins, cutlery, and drinking water.
Candidate Profile
- 8th / 10th / 12th pass (no specific educational requirement).
- 0โ2 years of experience in canteen, hotel, or food service (freshers can apply).
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Hardworking, punctual, and honest.
- Basic communication skills in Tamil (English/Hindi helpful but not mandatory).
- Age 18โ35 years (as per company policy).
