Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fitting and alignment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors for project completion.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Assemble and fit mechanical components, parts, and machinery according to specifications.

Candidate Profile

• ITI (Fitter) certification from a recognized institution.
• 1–6 years of experience in fitting, assembly, or maintenance (freshers with ITI can apply).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in industrial environments.

Types of Fitter Roles

• Assembly Fitter: Assembling machinery and equipment in manufacturing units.
• Maintenance Fitter: Preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
