Key Responsibilities

  • Develop menus, prepare cost estimates, and provide quotations to clients.
  • Supervise catering staff including chefs, servers, and helpers during events.
  • Ensure timely setup, food preparation, and service as per client expectations.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory of food, beverages, and catering equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve any issues during events.
  • Prepare event reports and manage post-event follow-ups.
  • Plan and coordinate catering services for events, weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
  • Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in catering management or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and costing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Tamil.
  • Leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
