Key Responsibilities
- Use examples, activities, models and digital tools to make CBSE Maths learning easy and interesting.
- Identify slow learners, provide extra guidance and arrange doubt clearing sessions when needed.
- Maintain proper records of marks, attendance and performance and share feedback with parents during PTMs.
- Teach maths for classes 6 to 12 following NCERT books and CBSE school academic plan.
- Prepare yearly plans, unit plans, detailed lesson plans and practice worksheets for CBSE Maths students.
- Explain concepts such as numbers, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and coordinate geometry with clear step by step board work.
- Conduct class tests, periodic tests, term exams and pre board exams in line with CBSE pattern.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics with B.Ed as per CBSE norms.
- Experience as TGT or PGT Maths teacher in CBSE school in Kochi or other cities will be an added advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge in CBSE Maths syllabus and ability to simplify concepts for different levels of students.
- Good communication skills, classroom management ability and interest in guiding students for board exams and entrance exams.
