Role Overview

We are hiring friendly and professional Waiters / Servers for reputed hotel in Kannur. You will be responsible for taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

This role is ideal for individuals with good communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Freshers with a positive attitude are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations when asked.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and politely, ensuring correct portions and presentation.
  • Check with customers throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Prepare and clear tables before, during, and after service.
  • Process customer bills, handle cash/card payments, and return correct change.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Candidate Profile

  • 10th / 12th pass or any graduate (no specific educational requirement).
  • 0–3 years of experience in food service (freshers with good communication can apply).
  • Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English (Hindi is a plus for some hotels).
  • Pleasant personality, well-groomed appearance, and polite demeanor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts.
  • Basic math skills for bill processing.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
