Role Overview

We are hiring Personal Drivers for families, individuals, and executives in Kannur. You will be responsible for safely driving family members to schools, offices, markets, and other destinations, maintaining the vehicle, and assisting with occasional errands.

This role is ideal for experienced drivers with a valid LMV license who are trustworthy, punctual, and have good knowledge of Kannur roads. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive family members safely to schools, colleges, offices, markets, and social engagements.
  • Ensure timely pickups and drops as per schedule.
  • Maintain the vehicle in clean and good condition inside and out.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure, lights) and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist with occasional errands such as picking up groceries, medicines, or parcels.
  • Follow traffic rules and ensure safe driving practices at all times.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism.
  • Keep the vehicle secure when not in use.

Candidate Profile

  • Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license.
  • 2–10 years of driving experience (freshers with good skills may be considered for some families).
  • Good knowledge of Kannur roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
  • Clean driving record with no major accidents or violations.
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and well-groomed.
  • Basic communication skills in Tamil (English/Hindi helpful for some families).
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
  • Police verification clearance (required for most personal driver positions).

Working Hours & Types

  • Full-time: 8–10 hours per day, 6 days a week (fixed schedule).
  • Part-time: Morning/evening school drops, occasional trips.
  • Live-in driver: Accommodation provided for drivers from out of town (rare).
  • Executive driver: Driving for business professionals, may include longer hours.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience, hours, and vehicle type).
