Role Overview

We are hiring skilled Forklift Drivers / Operators for warehouse, logistics center, factory, and manufacturing plants in Kannur. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely and efficiently.

This role is ideal for experienced forklift operators with a valid license. Freshers with forklift training certification can also apply for trainee positions.

🏗️ Loading & Unloading 📦 Material Handling 🔧 Equipment Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts (diesel, electric, or LPG) to move materials within the warehouse or factory premises.
Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
Stack and arrange materials in designated locations following safety guidelines.
Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues for maintenance.
Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring correct placement of goods.
Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist in warehouse housekeeping and organizing storage areas.
Coordinate with supervisors and team members for efficient material flow.

Candidate Profile

Valid forklift operator license / certification (mandatory).
1–5 years of experience operating forklifts (freshers with certification can apply).
Knowledge of safe forklift operation and material handling techniques.
Ability to work in shifts and handle physical demands of the job.
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
Good eyesight and coordination.
Basic communication skills.

Types of Forklifts

Counterbalance Forklift: Standard forklift for general material handling.
Reach Truck: For narrow aisles and high stacking.
Pallet Jack (Electric/Manual): For moving pallets short distances.
Side Loader: For long loads like pipes and timber.
Rough Terrain Forklift: For outdoor construction sites.

Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience and shift).
