Role Overview

We are hiring dynamic Field Sales Executives for a leading beverage company in Kannur. You will be responsible for visiting retail outlets, managing distributor relationships, expanding market reach, and achieving monthly sales targets for soft drinks, juices, energy drinks, and packaged beverages.

This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for field sales and a desire to build a career in the beverage / FMCG industry. Both experienced sales professionals and freshers with strong communication skills can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit retail outlets, supermarkets, grocery stores, and food service establishments in assigned territory to promote and sell beverage products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Ensure adequate product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising at retail points (coolers, shelves, displays).
  • Identify new business opportunities and onboard new retailers in the territory.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned products and territory.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
  • Process orders, coordinate with distributors for timely delivery, and ensure payment collection.
  • Prepare daily / weekly sales reports and submit to management.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
  • 1–5 years of experience in field sales (FMCG / beverage preferred). Freshers with good communication can apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Tamil.
  • Ability to build relationships with retailers and distributors.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Kannur for field visits.
  • Valid two-wheeler license and own vehicle preferred for field roles.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and order processing.
