Role Overview

We are hiring passionate Drawing Teachers for reputed school in Kannur. You will be responsible for teaching art, drawing, and painting to students from primary to high school levels, fostering creativity, and developing artistic skills.

This role is ideal for art graduates with a love for teaching and nurturing young talent. Both experienced teachers and freshers with BFA / Diploma in Art can apply.

Key Responsibilities

Teach drawing, painting, and art appreciation to students across different grade levels.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that encourage creativity and artistic expression.
Instruct students in various techniques including pencil sketching, watercolors, acrylics, oil pastels, and craft work.
Prepare students for art competitions, exhibitions, and school events.
Evaluate student artwork and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, conducive learning environment.
Organize and display student artwork in school exhibitions and annual day events.
Collaborate with other teachers for cross-curricular projects.

Candidate Profile

BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) / Diploma in Art or equivalent qualification.
B.Ed is preferred for school positions (can be mandatory for some schools).
0–5 years of teaching experience (freshers with strong portfolio can apply).
Proficiency in various art forms and techniques.
Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
Patience, creativity, and ability to connect with students.
Passion for art education and student development.

Techniques Taught

Drawing: Pencil sketching, charcoal, still life, landscapes, portraits.
Painting: Watercolors, acrylics, oil paints, poster colors.
Craft: Paper crafts, origami, clay modeling, collage work.
Art History: Introduction to famous artists and art movements.
Digital Art: Basic computer-aided art (for higher grades, optional).
