Role Overview

We are hiring reliable and punctual Courier Delivery Drivers for reputed courier and logistics company in Kannur. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering parcels, planning efficient routes, maintaining delivery vehicles, and providing excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for individuals with a valid driving license and knowledge of Kannur roads. Freshers with a valid license can also apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect parcels and documents from the distribution center or designated pickup points.
  • Deliver items to customers within specified time windows.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to save time and fuel.
  • Obtain proof of delivery (signatures, photos) and update delivery status.
  • Handle cash on delivery (COD) transactions accurately and submit collections.
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.
  • Report any delivery issues, delays, or customer complaints to the supervisor.
  • Follow all traffic rules and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in loading and unloading parcels when needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license (two-wheeler or four-wheeler as per vehicle type).
  • 8th / 10th / 12th pass (no specific educational requirement).
  • 0–4 years of experience in delivery driving (freshers with license can apply).
  • Good knowledge of Kannur roads, areas, and traffic patterns.
  • Basic communication skills in Tamil (English/Hindi helpful for some areas).
  • Physically fit for lifting and carrying parcels.
  • Smartphone with internet for navigation and delivery app.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.

Vehicle Types

  • Motorcycle / Scooter: For small parcels and documents.
  • Delivery Van: For larger parcels and bulk deliveries.
  • Company-provided vehicle: Vehicle provided by the courier company.
  • Own vehicle: Some companies allow drivers to use their own vehicle with fuel reimbursement.
