Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Catering Manager for reputed hotels in Kannur. You will be responsible for planning and managing catering operations, coordinating with clients, supervising staff, ensuring quality food service, and managing budgets for events, weddings, and corporate functions.

This role is ideal for professionals with a background in food and beverage management, event coordination, and team leadership. Experienced candidates with 3+ years in catering management are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate catering services for events, weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
  • Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
  • Develop menus, prepare cost estimates, and provide quotations to clients.
  • Supervise catering staff including chefs, servers, and helpers during events.
  • Ensure timely setup, food preparation, and service as per client expectations.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory of food, beverages, and catering equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve any issues during events.
  • Prepare event reports and manage post-event follow-ups.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in catering management or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and costing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Tamil.
  • Leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
