Role Overview

We are hiring BAMS qualified doctors for reputed hospital in Kannur. You will be responsible for consulting patients, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing Ayurvedic treatments, managing OPD and IPD cases, and collaborating with other medical departments for integrated patient care.

This role is ideal for BAMS graduates who are passionate about Ayurvedic medicine and want to practice in a professional hospital environment. Both experienced practitioners and fresher BAMS candidates with good internship experience can apply.

🌿 BAMS Qualified 🏥 Hospital Experience 🩺 OPD & IPD Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients in OPD and IPD settings, taking detailed medical history and performing examinations.
  • Diagnose conditions based on Ayurvedic principles and prescribe appropriate treatments including herbal medicines, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Perform Panchakarma and other Ayurvedic procedures as per hospital protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and case histories.
  • Coordinate with other departments for integrated patient care when needed.
  • Participate in health camps, wellness programs, and community outreach activities.
  • Follow hospital protocols, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure patient safety.
  • Guide and supervise junior doctors, interns, and therapy staff as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognized university.
  • Valid registration with Kerala Board of Indian Medicine or eligibility to register.
  • 0–5 years of clinical experience (freshers with good internship can apply).
  • Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, diagnostics, and treatment methods.
  • Familiarity with Panchakarma procedures and Ayurvedic pharmacy is a plus.
  • Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
  • Compassionate, patient, and able to work in a team.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining digital patient records.

Hospital Departments

  • OPD Services: General Ayurvedic consultations, follow-ups.
  • IPD Care: Managing in-patients under Ayurvedic treatment protocols.
  • Panchakarma Center: Supervising and performing detoxification therapies.
  • Wellness Department: Health programs, preventive care, lifestyle management.
  • Rehabilitation: Supporting patients with chronic conditions through Ayurveda.
