Role Overview

We are hiring skilled Bakers for reputed bakery in Kannur. You will be responsible for preparing and baking breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, mixing ingredients, operating ovens, and maintaining quality standards.

This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for baking and a desire to work in a professional kitchen. Both experienced bakers and freshers with bakery training can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake various types of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.
  • Mix and prepare dough, batters, fillings, and toppings according to recipes.
  • Operate and monitor ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and appearance of all baked products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area following food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and place orders as needed.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries as required.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and products.
  • Train and supervise junior bakery staff (for senior roles).

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / Certificate in Bakery & Patisserie from a recognized institute.
  • 0–5 years of experience in a bakery or hotel kitchen (freshers with training can apply).
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and recipe formulations.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Creativity in baking and presentation.
  • Ability to work in early morning shifts and fast-paced environments.
  • Team player with attention to detail.

Types of Bakery Items

  • Breads: Sourdough, baguettes, brioche, multigrain, sandwich breads.
  • Pastries: Croissants, danishes, puff pastries, tarts.
  • Cakes: Layer cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, celebration cakes.
  • Cookies & Biscuits: Chocolate chip, shortbread, traditional cookies.
  • Indian Sweets: Traditional Indian bakery items (optional).
