Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care including checking vital signs, dressing wounds, and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist in maternal and child health services: antenatal care, postnatal care, immunization, and family planning advice.
- Conduct health education sessions for patients and families on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Maintain patient records, reports, and registers accurately.
- Assist doctors during examinations and minor procedures.
- Participate in community health outreach programs and camps.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly.
Candidate Profile
- ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) diploma from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with Karnataka Nursing Council (or eligibility to register).
- 0–4 years of experience (freshers with good internship can apply).
- Knowledge of maternal and child health, immunization schedules, and community health.
- Good communication skills in Tamil (basic English helpful).
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work in diverse settings.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts or community visit schedules.
