Role Overview

Organisations across Raichur are scaling their workforce in line with Karnataka's expanding financial services, retail, and healthcare economy, with Security Guard among the priority roles being filled.

The position is site-based and may involve day or night shifts depending on client requirements and duty roster.

Key Responsibilities

Support basic crowd and traffic movement inside the premises during peak hours or events.
Inspect and patrol assigned premises at regular intervals, including common areas, parking, and entry points.
Monitor main gate and other access points and allow entry only to authorised staff, visitors, and vehicles as per instructions.
Maintain visitor and vehicle entry registers or use simple access systems where provided.
Report suspicious behaviour, safety hazards, or security violations to the supervisor or client contact immediately.
Check that doors, shutters, and gates are properly locked and that exits remain clear as per site rules.

Experience and Profile

Prior experience as a security guard, watchman, or defence background is an advantage but not always mandatory.
Comfortable standing for long periods, doing regular rounds, and working in rotating shifts.
Basic ability to read and write entries in logbooks and follow simple written duty instructions.
Willingness to be polite but firm while checking IDs, visitors, and vehicles entering the premises.
