Key Responsibilities

• Use scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and traffic rules within the logistics center.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in loading bays and aisles.
• Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck) to load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
• Sort and stage inbound and outbound shipments in designated areas.
• Move materials to storage locations and ensure accurate put-away.
• Assist in dispatch coordination by staging outbound shipments for timely departure.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.

Candidate Profile

• Valid forklift operator license / certification (mandatory).
• 1–5 years of experience operating forklifts in a logistics or warehouse environment (freshers with certification can apply).
• Experience with counterbalance and reach trucks preferred.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, loading/unloading procedures, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts (day, evening, night).
• Basic understanding of inventory management and scanning systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Logistics Center Equipment

• Counterbalance Forklift: For loading/unloading trucks and moving pallets.
• Reach Truck: For high stacking in racking systems.
• Electric Pallet Jack: For short-distance material movement.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS): For inventory tracking and location management.
• Handheld Scanners: For barcode scanning and shipment verification.
• Dock Levelers: For safe truck loading/unloading.
