Role Overview
Organisations across Raichur are scaling their workforce in line with Karnataka's expanding financial services, retail, and healthcare economy, with Civil Engineer among the priority roles being filled.
As a Civil Engineer or Site Engineer, you will coordinate with contractors and workers on site, check drawings and quality of work and ensure the project is completed safely and on time as per specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of safety measures and use of PPE by all workers at site.
- Attend site meetings with project manager, architects and clients and update them on work status.
- Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities at site and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, labour and material suppliers for smooth progress of work.
- Check layout, levels, shuttering, reinforcement and concrete work and maintain quality at each stage.
- Prepare and maintain site records such as daily progress reports, labour reports and material consumption details.
- Assist in preparing quantity estimates, bills, measurements and basic documentation for contractors and clients.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years experience as Civil Engineer or Site Engineer in building or infrastructure projects in or around Raichur.
- Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods and quality checking.
- Willingness to work at project sites and manage labour and contractors.
