As a chemistry teacher in CBSE school, you will teach NCERT based topics, conduct lab sessions and help students score well in school exams and CBSE board exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify learning gaps, provide remedial classes and clear doubts for students appearing for CBSE board exams.
- Maintain student records, marks and attendance and share regular feedback with parents during PTMs.
- Teach chemistry for classes 6 to 12 following CBSE syllabus and school academic plan.
- Prepare yearly plans, unit plans, lesson plans and study materials aligned with CBSE chemistry curriculum.
- Conduct chemistry practicals in the laboratory, demonstrate experiments and ensure safety rules are followed by students.
- Explain topics such as atomic structure, periodic classification, bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, solutions and basic organic chemistry with clear board work.
- Design and conduct class tests, periodic tests, term exams and pre board exams as per CBSE pattern.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry with B.Ed as per CBSE norms.
- Experience as TGT or PGT Chemistry teacher in CBSE school in Raichur or other cities will be an added advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge in CBSE chemistry syllabus and ability to simplify concepts for different student levels.
- Good communication skills, classroom management ability and interest in guiding students for board and entrance exams.
