Key Responsibilities
- Explain concepts like numbers, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and coordinate geometry with clear board work and step by step methods.
- Conduct class tests, revision tests and model exams to improve student performance in Matriculation board exams.
- Give homework, check notebooks regularly and correct answer sheets with proper marking and feedback.
- Maintain discipline in class, encourage active participation and clarify doubts of students during and after class.
- Teach maths lessons for classes 9 to 12 as per Matriculation school syllabus and yearly academic plan.
- Prepare lesson plans, class notes, practice worksheets and model question papers for Matriculation maths students.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics with B.Ed, preferably with Matriculation school maths teaching experience.
- Good understanding of Karnataka Matriculation maths syllabus and exam pattern for high school and higher secondary.
- Ability to explain maths concepts slowly and clearly in English and local language for Matriculation school students.
- Interest in helping students overcome fear of maths through regular practice, guidance and motivation.
