Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chemistry practical classes in the laboratory, demonstrate experiments and ensure proper lab safety for students.
  • Cover important topics such as atomic structure, periodic table, bonding, acids and bases, organic chemistry and numerical problems in a simple way.
  • Give class tests, revision tests and model exams to improve performance in school and public exams.
  • Correct answer papers, maintain mark registers and give feedback to students for improvement.
  • Maintain class discipline, check notebooks and assignments and coordinate with parents when needed.
  • Teach chemistry lessons for classes 9 to 12 as per Matriculation school syllabus and academic plan.
  • Prepare lesson plans, notes, diagrams and question papers suitable for Matriculation chemistry students.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry with B.Ed, preferably with Matriculation school chemistry teaching experience.

  • Ability to explain chemistry concepts clearly with board work, diagrams and simple language in English and local language.
