Key Responsibilities
- Meet daily targets on volume and accuracy while updating completion status in the coding tool or tracker.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and client information and follow company data security policies.
- Review patient charts, discharge summaries, operative notes, and other clinical documents allocated for coding.
- Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes using the coding systems required for the project.
- Check documents for incomplete or unclear information and raise queries through the internal process when needed.
- Apply codes in the correct order and follow company and client coding guidelines on every case.
Candidate Profile
- Comfortable reading medical documentation and following structured coding rules and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive documentation without losing accuracy.
- Ready to work from the company office in Mangaluru, with shift timing based on project requirements.
