Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely setup, food preparation, and service as per client expectations.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of food, beverages, and catering equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
- Handle client feedback and resolve any issues during events.
- Prepare event reports and manage post-event follow-ups.
- Plan and coordinate catering services for events, weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Develop menus, prepare cost estimates, and provide quotations to clients.
- Supervise catering staff including chefs, servers, and helpers during events.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in catering management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and costing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Tamil.
- Leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
