Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and adhering to warehouse rules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse aisles and loading areas.
- Operate counterbalance and reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks safely and efficiently.
- Stack and arrange pallets in designated locations following warehouse layout.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in inventory management by ensuring accurate placement of goods.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanners for tracking inventory.
Candidate Profile
- Valid forklift operator license / certification (mandatory).
- 1–5 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment (freshers with certification can apply).
- Experience with counterbalance and reach trucks preferred.
- Knowledge of safe material handling and warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to work in shifts (morning, evening, or night).
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Warehouse Equipment
- Counterbalance Forklift: For general material handling and loading/unloading.
- Reach Truck: For narrow aisles and high stacking in racking systems.
- Electric Pallet Jack: For moving pallets short distances.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS): For inventory tracking and location management.
- Handheld Scanners: For barcode scanning and inventory updates.
