Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and serving snacks like bajji, bonda, and other light refreshments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the tea stall, counters, utensils, and work area.
- Handle customer orders, billing, and payments accurately.
- Ensure ingredients and supplies are stocked and inform supervisor when low.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
- Provide friendly and prompt service to customers.
- Assist in opening or closing the shop as per shift schedule.
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other beverages as per customer orders and shop standards.
Candidate Profile
- 8th / 10th / 12th pass (no specific educational requirement).
- 0–2 years of experience in food service or tea making (freshers can apply).
- Knowledge of tea and coffee preparation techniques (training can be provided).
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and food safety.
- Good communication skills in Tamil.
- Hardworking, punctual, and customer-friendly attitude.
- Age 18–40 years (as per company policy).
Work Settings
- Tea Stalls: Local chai stalls, roadside tea shops.
- Cafes & Coffee Shops: Modern cafes serving tea, coffee, and snacks.
- Eateries & Fast Food Joints: Places serving tea with snacks.
- Food Courts: Tea counters in malls and food courts.
- Corporate Canteens: Office cafeteria tea counters.

- Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience and location).
