Role Overview

You will handle both tele-calling and field collection work, visit customer locations when required, explain dues clearly and work out practical repayment plans while maintaining professional behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explain outstanding amount, late payment charges and future due dates in a clear and polite manner.
  • Discuss and record customer commitments for part-payment or instalment plans within company guidelines.
  • Update call status, visit details and collection entries in registers, Excel sheets or mobile collection apps on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and submit Daily Collection Report (DCR) and other basic collection reports to the collection manager or branch manager.
  • Identify skip or non-contactable customers and share details with seniors for further action or legal process if required.
  • Follow fair collection practices, avoid harsh language or threats and maintain confidentiality of customer data and documents.
  • Call customers whose EMIs or bills are due or overdue and remind them about payment dates, amounts and consequences of non-payment.
  • Visit customer addresses for field collection, collect cash or cheque where permitted and ensure proper receipts are issued as per company rules.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 12th pass; graduates are preferred for Collection Executive jobs in finance company or NBFC.
  • 0�3 years experience as Collection Executive, Recovery Executive or Tele-Collection staff will be an added advantage.
  • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred for field collection work in Gurugram city and nearby areas.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills in local language and basic English, with ability to handle pressure and tough conversations calmly.
  • Basic knowledge of using smartphones, mobile apps and simple computer tools to update collection details and reports.
