Role Overview

This role is designed for candidates who can independently handle production activities during an assigned shift in a pharma manufacturing unit. You will supervise shift operations, coordinate manpower, and ensure that batches run as per approved procedures and production plans.

The position is based in the New-delhi region and covers line supervision, documentation checks, and day-to-day coordination with quality, engineering, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise production activities during the shift to meet planned output and quality standards.
  • Ensure batches are executed as per BMR/BPR, SOPs, and GMP requirements on the shop floor.
  • Allocate work to operators and helpers, monitor critical process parameters, and review line clearances.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution of equipment breakdowns and utilities issues.
  • Verify in-process checks, maintain online documentation, and ensure proper status labeling of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct shift handover with clear updates on ongoing batches, issues, and pending actions for the next shift.

Experience and Profile

  • Exposure to pharma formulation or API production in granulation, compression, coating, packing, or similar areas is an advantage.
  • Comfortable leading a team of operators and helpers on the shop floor during the shift.
  • Basic understanding of GMP shop floor practices, data integrity, and safety requirements in production.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts at the New-delhi plant location as per production schedules.
