About the Area Sales Manager – Telecom Role
Leading telecom operator and broadband company in New-delhi is hiring Area Sales Managers to lead field sales teams, manage channel partner ecosystems and deliver monthly new connection and revenue targets in assigned areas.
Candidates with 4+ years in telecom or broadband area-level sales management, proven channel partner development experience and strong leadership skills in the New-delhi or Delhi market are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Area Sales Leadership
Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives and Channel Partners across an assigned area of New-delhi to achieve monthly new connection and revenue targets.
- Channel Partner Development
Identify, onboard and develop LCOs, retailers and sub-dealers as channel partners; conduct regular partner review meetings and incentive campaigns.
- Sales Planning & Execution
Plan monthly sales activities, identify high-potential zones in the area, execute targeted campaigns and track daily performance against goals.
- Revenue & Market Share Growth
Drive revenue growth through new subscriber acquisition, plan upgrades and enterprise account development within the area.
- Reporting & Reviews
Prepare area-level weekly and monthly sales performance reports; present results to the Regional Sales Manager and propose action plans.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
Any degree from a recognised university; MBA in Sales and Marketing is strongly preferred for Area Sales Manager roles.
- Experience
4-10 years in telecom or broadband sales with at least 2 years in an Area Sales Manager or equivalent team leadership role.
- Leadership
Proven ability to recruit, lead and motivate a field sales team of 8-15 executives; strong coaching and performance management skills.
- Channel Management
Experience in developing and managing a channel partner network including LCOs, dealers and retailer chains in New-delhi.
